Information we collect

When you contact us, order a service, or complete client intake, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, email, billing details, order number, service selection, resume, employment and education history, qualifications, accomplishments, job goals, target postings, shared document links, and related messages or files.

Our website and service providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, cookies, and checkout or payment security information. If you create an account or choose to save payment details, the relevant account and payment-provider information is processed to support that choice.

Please share only information needed for your resume service. Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, identity documents, full payment-card details in messages or intake, or confidential employer information you are not authorized to share.

How we use information

• Respond to inquiries, identify your order, and provide the service you purchase.
• Review your background and prepare, revise, and deliver your resume or feedback.
• Send receipts, intake confirmations, service updates, and other order-related messages.
• Operate and secure the website, prevent misuse or fraud, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
• Understand and improve website performance and the service experience.

Promotional email is separate from service messages and is sent only if you choose to receive it. You may opt out of promotional email without affecting your order.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe through WooCommerce. Order and transaction information needed to process and secure your payment is shared with the payment provider. Payment-card details entered in the secure payment fields are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number on our website. Stripe may process information for payment processing, fraud prevention, and its legal obligations under its own Privacy Policy.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to host and operate the website, manage orders and intake, process payments, send email, and prepare or deliver documents. These include our website hosting provider, WordPress and WooCommerce tools, Stripe, and Google services for email and shared documents. Providers receive information needed for the functions they perform and handle it under applicable terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as necessary to address fraud or disputes. Your resume or identifying client materials will not be used as a public portfolio sample or testimonial without your separate permission. Service purchase does not grant that permission. During intake, you may optionally allow us to contact you about a public website sample. Before publication, we remove identifying and confidential details and obtain your separate written approval of the exact redacted version. Removing a name alone may not prevent identification through work history. Participation is optional and does not affect service or pricing.

Cookies and third-party content

Cookies and similar technologies support site functionality, shopping carts, checkout, account access, preferences, and security. Analytics or embedded third-party content, when used, may process technical information under the provider’s own policies. Links to job postings, shared documents, payment services, and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.

You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls provided on the site. Blocking necessary cookies may affect checkout or other features.

Retention and security

We retain client information only as long as reasonably needed to deliver services, manage follow-up and disputes, maintain required business or accounting records, and meet legal obligations. Retention may differ by record type. Information is then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to normal backup cycles.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Limit shared-document access to the intended recipients, and do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

Your choices and requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask about our handling of it, by emailing hello.hirepowerresumes@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Certain information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-related reasons. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.
